you know you are special, when you are referred to as simply, “the girls” in our home. these girls are quite the treat. emmie & ainsley – twin girls, and like family almost. i had the honor of taking some family pictures – couldn’t resist to post a few. 
i love how hard they were trying to be such good girls and smile for the camera – knowing ainsley, this makes me smile all the more

i went to “high tea” at the grand del mar. pretty snazzzzzy. it was wonderful – all to celebrate sianne, the bachelorette. sianne has been one of my best friends since i was about 12 years old. we’re celebrating the upcoming wedding and had a wonderful weekend laughing, sipping tea, eating sushi, devouring cake, and enjoying talking about the wedding of sianne and david.

the sun is shining bright here in san diego – but as i look through these hawaii pictures from our trip, it just seems like the sun in hawaii is just so much brighter, clearer, cleaner, and more vibrant. ahhh… hawaii & it’s beauties. here are some totally random pictures – mainly for my mom, who i know has been patiently waiting to see pictures of the 4 grandkids together. more are coming mom, i promise. like of hans’ avocado stand, annika’s ballet class, and just little beauties from the time with the cousins…. maybe just my mom, johan, and kristina’s family probably care to see all these – but that’s ok a few things are true – i love the beach, my family, and taking pictures – so combine all three and i do go a little excessive on the pictures….
there is just something magical about hawaii. isn’t there?

this is my niece liliana, the sweetest baby in the world! i’m moving on to my hawaii pictures – i’m a little overwhelmed to sort through them, so i just picked out my favorite lili shots instead. lili is the perfect mix of sweet & cuddly, while being spunky & giddy too. sometimes all you have to do is look at her and she just bursts into giggles. and i think she just may stay this way – she is a little delight.

the adventures with the gough boys were wonderful, but the ‘popcorn-movie-swinging-by-the rings- SLUMBER party’ might have been the boys’ favorite.
