seattle rain, snow, & special folks

the coffee, the neighborhoods, the beauty… there is so much to love about seattle.  and for us, the people are one of the best parts of this great city.  many very favorite people are in these pictures, and several aren’t featured here, because my camera was quiet and our chatter took over. we love them...

two months

my kai is two months… still a precious tiny baby, soft & warm.  i feel like i have loved him forever. love his serious gaze, his furrowed brow, and the way his eyes squint when he smiles and coos.  makes me wonder what he is thinking and can’t wait to someday hear.  we love you...

tip for a successful photoshoot…

break a few rules. like having a family pillow fight, jumping on every bed in the house, a candy/tea party on top of the kitchen counter, & best yet — a dance party on the counter.  bound to be delightfully fun (& memorable)… and sneak in some sweet pics in between of course.
