doing some “summer cleaning” on my computer and ran across these two from a photo shoot last summer.
these are my favorite kinds of pictures – just being sisters.
i look at these pictures i took right before he went to bed tonight and just gush.
i hear him laying in there flipping page after page in his book. quiet. (now)
love the freckles.
and the mix of the baby gavin and child gavin that i see in those eyes as he gets bigger.
still three years old, and i think i say that a lot – to savor the fact that he is still JUST three.

nature, light, and ocean. quite a nice view for two little ones.i met up with juliet at the same park where we met when we were little — just barely in diapers. this time with my mom there as gramma, and juliet’s three kids and my gavin. i cherish this special connections more and more, the older i get.
we tried to take a picture all together, but gavin had a total melt-down… guess that happens.

my attempt at the slideshow yesterday failed – so here is a good old fashioned blog post with some pictures from mostly lanai and a few from maui. if i could say one word about lanai – it would be incredible. i could go back there every year for the rest of my life. sigh………
well, maybe i’ll just listen to hawaiian music and look at these pictures a little bit each day.
