the secret daughter

most of the time i am taking pictures of my silly little three year old boy, the adventures or quiet moments in our world, the friends & family that keeps us smiling and busy.  or taking pictures of sweet little babies and toddlers (and making sure they are bugger free).  every once in a while i get to do something unique and different – like photographing the author, shilpi gouda.a wonderful story.  check it out here.  i really was so honored to be a part of her project.not only was she so stunning – but the use of natural light really reflected radiantly in her eyes and her skin.  we took these around 2 hours before sunset & sitting where indirect light poured into a dimly lit lobby – a perfect setting for a warm, soft portrait.
