My 27th birthday is coming up and while I thought I would be married and have a family of my own by now, your pictures have comforted me for nearly 5 years in various seasons of intense frustration and impatience…when I lost my mom and had to move clear across the country, and when I fell in unrequited love…or weeks like this when it helps to be reminded that earth is just a little while and everything sad [and crazy] is coming untrue. :]

I particularly appreciate the authenticity with which you share the beautiful, calm, and restorative moments of your life. It never comes across as you boasting in anything or attempting to portray an image of perfection; and maybe I’ve said this in a comment before, but your photos feel like a foretaste of heaven to me.
