People always say “you’ve got to find that balance between work and home” and the reality is there is NO balance. When you say yes to something, you are saying no to something else. And that something else may be playing outside with chalk with our kids, or taking a bike ride with them or just an evening watching a movie with your husband.

I haven’t known you for very long but your pictures speak volumes
as to how you see life (or would like to see life). I can see that you are looking to live “simply” – to create a peaceful environment for yourself and for your family, to focus and be present in the moment. Believe it or not I’ve learned so much about simplifying through you :)

One last comment (and I promise I’ll press the post comment after this).. I find that when my life gets too busy it’s impossible to hear Gods whispers in my heart (and he really does. That feeling when we are out at the beach on a perfect sunny day and all feels perfect..I feel as close to God as ever). How can we hear Him when we are so busy running around like a crazy mad woman? (and that would be me on most days, by the way) :)
